The four day art extravaganza known as Art Basel came to a close on Sunday even if you weren’t picking up a million dollar painting there was plenty to see and do. “A” list and “B” list celebrities, amazing art and mind blowing exhibitions were the order of the day our Deco camera crew managed to crash a few galleries before being politely asked to leave check it out.

Robin thicke got everyone in the mood at the beats by dre Fendi casa celebration. Guests took in a visual feast courtesy of artist Nick Cave, Robin performed songs from his new album a work influenced by his new son.

South Beach was coming up roses for Basel thanks to artist Will ryman. A 22 foot high flower sculpture blossmed on the sand in front of the sagamore hotel.

It was water water everywhere at the “elements” show at Miami Art Space. The show featured works by brazilian artist souza, a favorite of Real Miami Housewife Adriana De Moura.

When she’s not browsing for a new yacht, Adriana runs her own gallery in Coral Gables.

The tides hotel is a work of art in itself but over basel weekend the landmark got an amazing 3-d makeover.

Hyundai and pearl media created a 3-d projection that morphed the hotel into a blaze of lights and 3-d shapes.

It was art overload at basel this year, now, we have 360 days to recover — and plan for next year’s show.
